INVITATION AND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstracts are invited for submission to The 11th Aotearoa New Zealand Organisational Psychology and Organisational Behaviour (ANZOPOB) Conference. The conference will take place on Friday 25 November 2022, at Massey University (Wellington Campus).
We welcome practitioners, academics, and postgraduate students working on topics directly in, or related to, organisational/work psychology and organisational behaviour. To make this event inclusive, we accept a range of papers that fit under the term“research”, including but not limited to: conceptual papers, empirical studies, and interesting cases.
The aim of the conference is for organisational / work psychology and organisational behaviour researchers and practitioners to get together and discuss their research and to:
- Better understand what research other organisational psychology and organisational behaviour researchers / practitioners are conducting;
- Develop a stronger community of organisational psychology and organisational behaviour researchers / practitioners.
Time
The Conference will run on 25th November (Friday). We’ll meet from 8.30am for morning tea/coffee and networking, and the conference will start at 9am, running until approximately 4:30pm (depending on the final programme). Refreshments will be provided including lunch, nibbles, and drinks.
Venue
The conference will be held on Massey University’s Wellington Campus. A map will be sent to you with confirmation of your registration.
Cost
The conference cost is $99 per person including GST. We aim to keep this conference accessible to all by keeping costs down. We believe the conference is of great value with high quality and engaging presentations, and networking opportunities.
A PDF collection of abstracts will be made available to all registered attendees before the conference. A schedule of speakers and topics will be provided to attendees on arrival at the conference.

Abstracts and Peer Review Process
- Follow the format at the end of this document. The deadline for abstract submission is 5.30pm Friday 30 September.
- You may appear on more than one abstract (e.g., if you are a supervisor to multiple students submitting different papers), but you may only present once (to ensure that we represent a diversity of research).
- Your abstract will be peer-reviewed and reviewers’ constructive feedback will be returned to you.

Timeline
- Friday 30 September 2022: Deadline for submission of abstracts.
- Friday 14 October: Reviewer feedback and decision on abstracts will be sent.
- Friday 11 November 2022 5.30pm: Last day for conference registration (presenters and attendees).
- Presenters, please register and let us know as soon as possible after abstract acceptance about any travel arrangements we need to fit around (e.g., not scheduling you for any early presentation if you are flying to Wellington on the day of the conference).
- Friday 25th November: Conference Day!
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be in English. Abstracts should be in the range of 500-900 words.
The abstract should clearly state the:
- Title
- Topic, key research question, or focus of the project
- Method (or “Key Propositions” for conceptual papers)
- Results, along with implications and/or application
- The author(s) name and contact information should not appear anywhere in the PDF abstract you submit. Abstracts must be text only.
- List references at the end if in-text citations are used (references are not counted towards the word limit).
Contact information for all author/s; including name, affiliation and email addresses must be entered during the online abstract submission.
