There is consensus in the literature that stakeholder engagement is a key success element for Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). However, there are many different ways that such engagement could be implemented. This track calls for research from different angles and disciplines on how to theoretically and practically engage external stakeholders in RRI practices. Suggested topics for discussion include: case studies of engagement with stakeholders in RRI-related practices potential methods or frameworks for engagement with stakeholders specific disciplines and their barriers to and/or enablers of stakeholder engagement philosophical/theoretical discussions (e.g. of responsibility, nature of stakeholders, etc.) Broader discussions related to Responsible Research and Innovation are also encouraged, but are asked to include some aspect of stakeholder engagement.
